IMPRESS INFOGRAPHIC POSTER
An A3 info-graphic poster highlighting the findings collected from a patients incontinence workshop
- Client: Impress
- Date: March, 2016
Impress is 3 year research project funded by EPSRC and the NIHR-HTC. Their aim is to bring about radical change in the research and development activities in incontinence technology by engaging interest.
They wanted us to design an info-graphic to collate all the qualitative findings collected from a patient workshop considering how to promote it on social media.
A3 poster with 4 twitter snapshots taken from the poster
When analysing the content, it became apparent that it would not be possible to quantify the results which contained a lot of opinions and emotive language. We managed to clearly identify specific topic categories, which could then be broken down into a flowchart structure.
This resulted in an A3 flow chart infographic that guided the reader through a map which built up a picture of the patient’s perspective to incontinence. 4 ‘snapshots’ were pulled out from the main poster and repurposed for Twitter to allow Impress to send out teaser images of the poster.
Impress were incredibly happy with the work and widely circulated the poster, using the snapshots to promote the work on Twitter. They further commissioned a roll-up banner of the infographic to be shown at other events.
EatFishDesign created some excellent infographics from a particularly complex set of data. We found their design service exceptional both in terms of creativity, attention to detail and efficiency.
