Client & Brief

Smartgate Solutions provide a range of Quality and Compliance systems for the Health and Social Care, Security and Transport sectors. They developed Radar Healthcare, a software platform for health and social care management. The system allows the customers department to meet CQC mandated standards.

Smartgate commissioned us to create a versatile infographic that was in line with their branding. The graphic needed to simply explain the process of health management and where their product, Radar Healthcare solution, fits into that process.

Process
  1. Sketches of the diagram were sent across by the client, this detailed the different sections and flow of information
  2. We came up with some initial ideas looking at using the radar healthcare brand style
  3. In a face to face meeting, these were discussed with the client
  4. Making the required adjustments, we focused on the design that reflected the product name, presenting the work in a radar shape
  5. The final design was sent over to the client and the whole project was completed in three days
Final Product

Digital visual diagram

The information was presented in a circular shape to represent a radar, which is incorporated in the product name and logo. A gradient sweep was used to give the design a dynamic quality and to additionally show the direction of information flow. A subtle blue line highlights the section where the customer’s product comes in without breaking up the overall aesthetics.

Small clean icons visually represent some of the key points in the diagram to make them stand out. The colours, fonts and styles conform to the product branding as outlined in their style guideline.

Project Outcome

The work was well received and completed in a very short time frame. The diagram met all the requirements outlined by the client and so we were then commissioned to redesign a similar set of graphics.
